First things first: let me congratulate you on your confirmation as the the District Chief Executive of Bunkpurugu-Nakpanduri,following the unanimous approval by the members of the assembly.
The unanimity with which you were acclaimed is not an expression of chivalry by the thirty-one (31) members of assembly, it is a verdict of your competence to man the assembly.
I have heard many whispers and followed keenly conversations by people across the political divide and the apolitical since your nomination about the rapport you have among the population. It is my expectation that you can manifest such an enormous tool at your disposal to unify the people of Bunkpurugu-Nakpanduri in furtherance of development and improvement of lives of people.
The endorsement by the people is indicative of the huge task ahead which you must endeavour to deliver. I know with the confidence reposed in you, you shall accept that challenge to not dissappoint us in days to come. I indulge you to employ a similar strategy you used in galvanising this enormous support from the assembly members to court the support of all that matter to assist you deliver the challenging task which you have been entrusted to perform.
Bimoba folks have their saying that once one takes the mantle of leadership, he becomes a dump site hence you should expect a lot of criticisms— some fair, constructive and suggestive, and others unfair, unfounded and unjustified. But the mark of a good leader is taking all forms of criticisms in good fate.
As Louk-Naan literary means, I know that you will detour from it so that it is not just an NPP-naan, Louk-naan, Moab-naan but suakul-naan. You are now the administrative father of the district and I expect you will be just that. All I and many others want to see is an all inclusive governance and the fair share of scarce resources and opportunities.
I do not intend boring you with copious thesis—have fun in your honeymoon.
